Prudential Annuities names SVP, business strategy officer

Prudential Annuities, a business of Newark-based Prudential Financial Inc., has named Melissa Kivett senior vice president and business strategy officer.Kivett will be responsible for leading overall business strategy development and will join its senior leadership team. She will report to Lori Fouche, president of Prudential Annuities.

“As we embark on a more holistic approach to strategy, planning and execution, Melissa will apply her extensive career experiences in building innovative and customer-focused growth platforms to her new position in Prudential Annuities,” Fouche said.

Prior to Prudential, Kivett was senior vice president, business development and strategy, for Assurant. She also served as senior vice president, investor relations, for Assurant.
