A highly entertaining video has shown gamers what they’ve always wondered – what would happen if Mario ended up in Sonic’s world?
Failure, that’s what.
Mario is seen trying to take on the challenges of Green Hill Zone but he hits a fair few snags, from being unable to merely jump on the heads of his foes to trying to figure out one of those loops which Sonic speeds round with such ease.
But Mario’s biggest setback comes when he takes on Dr Robotnik aka Dr Eggman and realises that three strikes simply aren’t enough to deal with this enemy.
This isn’t Bowser you know.
Meanwhile, Sonic is having a much easier time of it in Super Mario Land as his spinning reduces Mario’s pretty pitiful enemies to mush.
This is all the proof that is needed that Sonic is way more badass than Mario.
