FutureINDesign Announces Adobe Systems as Technology Partner

Salt Lake City, UT, April 29, 2016 --(PR.com)-- A Utah workforce development startup, FutureINDesign, has reached an agreement with Adobe Systems to help train economically disadvantaged youth in graphic design, web development and software development. Adobe will provide curriculum and teachers for the non-profit startup. The organizations formally announced their partnership at a joint presentation on April 27th and Sustainable Startups co-working space in Salt Lake City.

FutureINDesign’s training program helps address a problem in Utah where technology reliant businesses can’t find qualified workers with enough digital skills to support their company’s growth. Co-founded in late 2015 by Nicholina Womack, the startup has put together a series of partnerships with local businesses to provide services and training for its students. “When it comes to design software, we wanted to get support from the industry leader,” said Womack, “and we’re so happy they share our vision.”

In addition to the curriculum and teachers, Adobe’s Lehi office is exploring providing job shadowing and internship opportunities for FutureINDesign students. “As the relationship progresses, we hope to find additional ways to work with FutureINDesign in ways that benefits both groups,” wrote Isaac Strack, the Experience Manager for Adobe Mobile.
