Fatality at Harmony’s Kusasalethu mine
Johannesburg: Tuesday, 4 August 2015. Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited (“Harmony”) regrets to advise that an employee was fatally injured in a rail bound accident at its Kusasalethu mine near Carletonville on Monday morning.
Investigations into the accident are underway and all tramming operations on the level where the accident occurred have been stopped.
Harmony’s management team wish to express their deepest condolences to the members of the deceased's family.
