- Columbia Banking System (NASDAQ:COLB) has named Clint Stein executive VP and chief operating officer.
- Stein, already the chief financial officer, will replace Hadley Robbins, who has taken over as president and CEO.
- Stein will get responsibility for customer-facing business, including its Commercial Banking, Retail Banking and Wealth Management groups.
- He's been with Columbia since joining as chief accounting officer in 2005. The company will search nationwide for a new CFO.
