Fashion Bed Group (FBG) announced recently that they will showcase a series of offerings at High Point Market that make shipping and assembly a breeze for both retailers and consumers.

“Given the significant growth of e-commerce, the ability to package and ship products quickly and easily has become a high priority among both online and brick-and-mortar retailers,” said Ron Ainsworth, senior vice president of merchandising and procurement for Fashion Bed Group. “Our latest designs deliver ease in every aspect. They’re easy to store, ship, and set up, which also makes them easy to sell.”

SNAP Beds
The company’s collection of SNAP™ Beds has taken the industry by storm delivering unprecedented style and simplicity in a series of innovative bed designs that literally “snap” together, making set-up and shipping simpler than ever. Each bed comes complete with a headboard, footboard and sturdy, all-metal folding frame. Assembly requires no tools other than an Allen wrench, which is included with each package.

SNAP Beds are offered in six distinct designs, including traditional, transitional and modern/contemporary styles. All beds are available in sizes from Full to Cal King with retail prices ranging from approximately $399-$599 in Queen. Multi-function Frames Simplicity and ship-ability also are the driving forces behind FBG’s latest bedding support options: 

  • Solutions Universal Bed Frame – For consumers seeking a versatile, easy-to-assemble bed frame, Fashion Bed Group has the ideal “solution.” Offering all the support of a conventional frame, but with a compact design that’s easy to move, ship and store, the universal Solutions design converts easily to support mattresses ranging in size from Twin to King. Simply fold or unfold the frame and slide the components to the required mattress size. No tools are needed.

    Weighing just 35 lbs., the Solutions frame is easy to assemble and maneuver, so the frame can be moved and adjusted as lifestyle needs or decorating preferences change through the years. The Solutions universal bed frame is priced to retail for approximately $99 with glides, and $129 with rug rollers.

 

  • Atlas Support and Storage System – Delivering superior support with convenient under-bed storage, the Atlas Support and Storage System combines form, function and flat-pack shipping convenience. Designed to support up to 1,200 lbs., the 100 percent steel platform frame features metal support bars and cross cables that eliminate the need for a box spring. Atlas also is available with a new MDF deck, providing a solid surface that covers all current mattress manufacturer’s warranties.

    Easy to assemble with no tools required, Atlas also offers a generous 14 inches of clearance under the bed – ideal for the optional under-the-bed storage drawers available with this system. Available in a full range of sizes, Atlas is priced to retail from $129 for Twin, $199 for Full and Queen, and $229 King and Cal King.
