DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Copart, Inc. CPRT, a global online vehicle auction company, announced today the launch of its second annual Copart Rebuild Challenge, a contest designed for car enthusiasts and auto rebuilders to show how they restored, customized, or rebuilt a vehicle.

From July 6 until July 27, car enthusiasts and auto rebuilders may enter the 2015 Copart Rebuild Challenge at Copart.com/Rebuild by submitting before and after pictures of a vehicle they restored, customized or rebuilt. Contestants will also need to include a brief written description of their project and how it relates to Copart.

"We're excited to bring the Copart Rebuild Challenge back," said Michelle Hoffman, Copart's Senior Director of Marketing. "There were so many amazing entries that came in last year, and we are ready to see what our talented Members will show us in 2015."

At the end of the entry period, an expert panel of Copart judges will choose up to 10 finalists. Voting will then be open to the public to determine the top three winners. The grand prize is $2,000, followed by a second prize of $500, and a third prize consisting of a one-year Copart Premier Membership or $200 if the winner already has a Premier Membership. Members will have an additional chance to win a $100 gift card with Copart's social sweepstakes. Instructions for participation will be announced on Copart's official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.

"With over 100,000 vehicles available online, car enthusiasts of different skill levels can find what they need for rebuild projects," said Hoffman. "With this contest, we are looking for something that really ‘wows' people and inspires other auto enthusiasts to start their own projects."
