6 New Stores Open in Northshore Mall

Earlier this month, the mall announced that six new stores have opened, including two locally owned businesses.

PEABODY, MA – There are some new faces in the Northshore Mall this fall. The mall announced the opening of six new stores and some new dining options earlier this month, including a gourmet olive oil store run by two Peabody natives.

The Branch Olive Oil Co. is now open, and carries local handmade pastas, flavored salts, olive oil, vinegar, and olive oil-based beauty products. The shop is in the Nordstrom wing on the lower level.

Blue River Diamonds – which uses 95 to 100 percent recycled gold in all diamond mountings and gemstones and guaranteed conflict-free diamonds – also opened for business in the Nordstrom wing, on the upper level. According to a news release from Northshore Mall, Blue River Diamonds is locally owned, and the store will feature the company's Alex & Ani, Movado, Cape Cod Jewelry collections.

ThinkGeek is now open on the main level, near Uniqlo. The store started by selling clever t-shirts and gifts, and grew to apparel, home and office decor, electronics, outdoor and survival gear, and collectibles.

Journeys Kidz recently opened to sell kids' footwear for children ages 5 to 12 on the main level next to Uniqlo. Journeys Kidz joins Journeys, a longtime Northshore Mall retailer, as an extension of the Journeys store.

Daniel Blaze Shoes – which carries women's and children's shoes – is now open in the Sears wing.

Spirit Halloween is open, selling Halloween costumes, accessories, and decor on the lower level next to Nordstrom.

Legal Sea Foods recently finished a major renovation, according to the news release, including remodels for the bar and dining room and new sushi menu. Not Your Average Joe's opened earlier this month after closing its longtime Beverly location on Enon Street.
