Needham police log: Vehicle violations

On Sept. 29, at 3 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on Highland Avenue. A 22-year-old Dorchester man will be summonsed to court and charged with operating with revoked registration.

On Sept. 29, at 4:40 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on Central Avenue. The car’s inspection sticker appeared to be tampered with, police said. A 23-year-old Millis man will be summoned to court and charged with forging a motor vehicle document, police said.

On Sept. 30 at 9:50 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Dedham Avenue. A 36-year-old Stoughton man was summonsed to court and charged with operating a motor vehicle after revocation.

On Sept. 30, at 10:07 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Second Avenue because it appeared to have defective equipment. A 28-year-old Watertown man will be summoned to court and charged with operating with a suspended license, police said.

On Sept. 30 at 4:25 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on Highland Avenue near West Street. A 32-year-old Maine man was cited for operating with a revoked registration and without insurance, police said.

On Oct. 3 at 9 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Hunnewell Street. A 20-year-old Waltham man was summonsed to court and charged with operating with a revoked registration and no insurance, and for speeding, police said.

On Oct. 4, at 2:10 a.m., police responded to the area of Central Avenue and Taylor Street for a reported single-vehicle crash. A 24-year-old Brighton man will be summonsed to court for operating after suspension and marked lanes violations, police said.

On Oct. 6, at 9:49 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Highland Avenue near the Newton line. A 41-year-old Waltham man will be summoned to court for unlicensed operation and revoked registration, police said.
