I went online and checked out what America paid in Welfare every year. It’s $637 billion. If we cut Welfare by 10% President Donald Trump would have $63.7 billion to pay for that wall.

Responding to all these people being separated at the southern border, who cares. I surely don’t. These people are here illegally, they are illegal aliens, they have no right to be here. They should not have come here. You really need to look up the word “illegal” in the dictionary. Maybe that’s what the problem is here. Either that or you went through the public school system and they never taught what the word “illegal” means.

What is problematic about the Fair Education Funding movement? Opposition to effective “Charters” which are supported by no less than The New York Times. Alignment with a PSEA which harbors incompetents, silence on resource-draining illegals and misdirected claims of racism, oblivious to the legacy of LBJ “Great Society” initiatives which, to this day, undermine black communities.

This talk in this town about having to call on a phone to activate a parking space on High Street is enough. Both parties, every member of borough council needs to be removed from office. They have forgotten that parking meters helped do this town in and now we’re starting to recover and they’re going to do it again. The area they’re including is too much to take. The people need to call their council person and tell them it is to be stopped, we’ve had enough.

There are so many empty positions on the Trump staff that Trump has a temporary secretary leaving and being replaced by a temporary secretary. Acting Defense Secretary Pat Shanahan has said Tuesday that he will resign after coming under scrutiny after a violent fight with his wife. Trump now has nine temporary vacancies with acting leaders. He is surrounding himself with only yes men.

To the retired teachers, we’re tired of getting forced out of our homes as seniors because of your cushy union pensions. It’s my understanding you get about $1,000 a week for being retired while we struggle to stay in our homes. This should not be.

In a development not heavily reported, Trump recently indicated that he often talks to many different foreign governments without the information being reported to the FBI. This has serious implications. If a president can’t tell the difference between Queen Elizabeth and Vladimir Putin, then as Philadelphia Inquirer columnist Trudy Rubin recently wrote “This signals a serious state of mental decline.”

Something needs to be done before the summer gets hot as our neighborhood street is literally melting. Last year someone thought it was a great idea to plaster Donna Lane with tar and put tiny rocks on top of it and call it blacktop. It was 83 degrees last week and the tar was back to liquid and sticking to my dog’s pads, vehicle tires, our shoes and carpets. Our dogs are now licking their pads and who knows what that will do to their stomachs. Please fix.
