New Jersey governor to return to New Hampshire Wednesday-Friday
As Chris Christie prepares to return to New Hampshire later this week to continue his campaign for president, he has been endorsed by 11 state GOP activists from different areas of the state.Christie has so far spent 24 days in the state since he announced his candidacy for for president. During that time, he  has made 11 visits and has held 23 town hall meetings.Backing Christie on Monday are former Scott Walker supporters Steven Steiner of North Conway and candidate for state representative Alexandria Knox of Manchester, who was a member of the Students for Walker coalition.Also backing the New Jersey governor are U.S. Navy veteran Craig Fillmann of Glen, Parker Leonard of Auburn, Saint Anselm College Republicans secretary Cameron Lapine of Manchester, Steve Woods of Brentwood, Claire Stevens of Hudson, Kirsten Yellen and John Gallagher of Manchester, Bill and Carol Gaffney of Nashua.Steiner said Christie, like Walker, “has the strength to stand up to the special interests in a very blue state.”Steiner, who, according to the Christie campaign, has lost a son to a drug overdose added, ”I know that no candidate has been more active in confronting this disease (drug addiction) than Gov. Christie. He is exactly the kind of strong leader we need to restore our country to greatness after eight years of failed leadership and dysfunction in Washington, D.C."
