Two Proven Tech Innovators Join Brandmuscle Leadership Team

CHICAGO, Sept. 22, 2016 -- The distinct leader in distributed local marketing is taking steps to ensure future innovation with the addition of two visionary technology leaders to the company’s executive team.

Local marketing software and service company Brandmuscle has hired Bo Shim as Chief Technology Officer and Rhonda Parouty as Executive Vice President of Channel Management Solutions.

Just a month after acquiring a new office in Kansas City to cement its position as the largest local marketing technology and service provider, Brandmuscle has hired Bo Shim as Chief Technology Officer and Rhonda Parouty as Executive Vice President of Channel Management Solutions. Both join Brandmuscle with proven track records of leadership and innovation in the tech industry. Shim will be based in Cleveland, while Parouty will lead Brandmuscle’s products and services team in Austin, Texas.

Bo Shim’s Visionary IT Leadership Will Strengthen Local Marketing Software and Service Offerings
Bringing a mix of enterprise technology, digital marketing, and cross-channel integration experience to the Brandmuscle leadership team, Shim’s role as CTO will include managing Brandmuscle’s entire technology organization while focusing on business growth by delivering value for clients through digital  innovation, cloud computing, and big data. His focus will be on enhancing and modernizing Brandmuscle’s SaaS local marketing execution solution as well as introducing new technology capabilities to support Brandmuscle’s digital services.

Most recently the VP of digital, store and omni-channel technologies at global luxury brand retailer, Signet Jewelers, Shim also brings experience leading successful IT and development teams at regional financial service provider KeyBank and digital marketing firm Rosetta.

Prior to his leadership roles at various retail, technology and financial service firms, Shim started his career in application and software development. He has a degree in biochemistry from Ohio University.

Rhonda Parouty’s Software, Channel Management Expertise Brings Innovation to Brandmuscle Clients
As a recognized thought leader with more than a decade of pure-play software and channel marketing experience, Parouty brings extensive knowledge of building, innovating and selling products across various channels, both geographically and vertically. Prior to Brandmuscle, Parouty served as the head of revenue and business development for Hewlett Packard’s Application Delivery Management business. In this role she was the key strategist across sales, product, marketing, support, Finance and IT.  Previous leadership roles included strategy and operations roles in the security software space and global client services focused on Fortune 100 clients.

Parouty is a certified facilitator and travels the world to deliver leadership and management training to software leaders. Originally from Michigan, Parouty has been a proud Austin, Texas, native for ten years.
