Registration Opens for 105th Grey Cup Festival Volunteer Program Presented by Mosaic

OTTAWA-GATINEAU - The 105th Grey Cup Festival team kicked off National Volunteer Week by announcing the opening of registration for the 105th Grey Cup Festival and Mosaic as its presenting sponsor for the Volunteer Program. In less than seven months, all eyes will be on Ottawa when RNation welcomes Our Nation for a week-long celebration of football and Canadiana, culminating with the 105th Grey Cup presented by Shaw on Sunday, November 26 at TD Place in Ottawa.
"Volunteerism in Ottawa and across our country is what allows our communities to stand as such tremendous hosts for national and international events," said Valerie Hughes, OSEG's Director, Major Events and the 105th Grey Cup Festival. "It is the work of volunteers that will make this event the exclamation point on a year-long celebration of our country."
Interested volunteers can now register online at GreyCupFestival105.ca to be part of a cornerstone event in the Canada 150 celebrations. Volunteer opportunities include RNation ambassadors, transportation team, concert crew, event assistants, fan experience and family zone team, media and photography assistants, hospitality and many more.
"We're looking for a committed group of motivated volunteers to join our team to make this the most memorable Grey Cup Festival ever," added Hughes whose team will be looking for a volunteer base of 1,000 people to make this event a success.
The Grey Cup Festival team also announced that Mosaic will support this team of volunteers in a big way.

Ottawa REDBLACKS season ticket holders have the first opportunity to purchase Grey Cup Festival tickets as well as tickets to the 105th Grey Cup.
