Comedy Central has ordered a pilot for “Bad Couple,” a comedy written and exec produced by “SNL” alum Noël Wells and Flint Wainess.
Starring Wells as the female lead, the pilot revolves around Flint and Noël, an inseparable couple who constantly clash with modern social mores, making life difficult for themselves and those around them. Wainess’ roles on the project will remain behind the camera.
In addition to her work on “Bad Couple,” Wells is starring in Aziz Ansari’s upcoming Netflix sitcom “Master of None,” and also lends her voice to Disney XD’s “Wander Over Yonder.” The duo is currently working on Netflix’s upcoming animated “Green Eggs and Ham” series as consulting writers.
Wells is repped by ICM and Kirsten Ames Management. Wainess is repped by UTA and Kaplan-Perrone.
