Heroin, Cocaine And Guns Found In Antioch Storage Unit After East Nashville Traffic Stop

Metro Police say 11 kilos of cocaine, three kilos of heroin and two handguns were discovered in a Cane Ridge Road storage unit.

ANTIOCH, TN β€” Metro Police discovered 11 kilograms of cocaine, three kilograms of heroin and two loaded handguns inside a storage unit in Antioch following the arrest of a man after a traffic stop in East Nashville.

A standard traffic stop led to the arrest of Walter Jones, 45, for gun and drug possession. Detectives then obtained a search warrant for a unit allegedly rented by Jones at the Public Storage location on Cane Ridge Road.

In the unit, investigators found nine bricks of cocaine totaling 10 kilograms and bricks of heroin weighing three kilogram. Also in the unit was a safe, which contained two guns, a kilo brick of cocaine and bagged cocaine and heroin, according to police.

He was booked into the Metro jail and charged with drug possession, resisting arrest and felon in possession of a firearm.
