American Superconductor Shedding More Jobs

BOSTON (CBS) - After it's largest customer started to refuse shipments, American Superconductor is laying off more people.

The Devens company is cutting its workforce by 30%, following a small layoff this spring.

Clean tech analyst Craig Irwin says even with the cutbacks, American Superconductor has strong technology.

About 150 jobs will be eliminated in this round.

No word yet how many local jobs will be affected.
