Denver-based Re/Max has named Geoff Lewis as president, succeeding Vinnie Tracey who will retire later this year.
Lewis joined Re/Max in 2004 as senior vice president and general counsel of the real estate brokerage company. He was promoted in 2013 to executive vice president and chief legal officer.
Tracey will serve as president emeritus until his retirement becomes effective in August.
Lewis helped guide Re/Max through its initial public stock offering in 2013. Prior to joining Re/Max, he was senior vice president and general counsel for Cleveland-based Hyster-Yale Materials Handling Inc.
