Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL) Fell To A 4-Month Low After 2015 Outlook Cut

Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL) reported first quarter adjusted EPS of $0.20 Monday morning, compared to $0.21 in the previous year. Analysts expected EPS of $0.14. Full year 2015 adjusted EPS is expected to be between $4.45 and $4.65, down from prior expectations of $4.65 to $4.85. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $4.75.

Royal Caribbean Cruises gapped open sharply lower Monday and declined during the first 45 minutes of trade. Shares were range-bound for the remainder of the session and finished with a loss of 6.32 at $72.71 on strong volume. The stock dropped to a 4 1/2 month low.
