Dog Lovers Unite at Pooch-A-Palooza on September 5 and 6 at Topsfield Fairgrounds

Families and their furry friends are invited to a celebration of canine companionship at Pooch-A-Palooza.

Families and their furry friends are invited to a celebration of canine companionship at Pooch-A-Palooza on September 5 and 6, 2015. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Topsfield Fairgrounds (207 Boston Street, Topsfield Mass.).

This two-day festival brings together dog lovers of all ages for a fun-filled day of games and entertainment, demonstrations and activities, pooch contests, and more. Guests will enjoy comedic dog performances, agility and Frisbee demonstrations, free pooch spa services and more than 50 vendors. Families can spend time in the Kids’ Activity Zone and the Pooch Game Zone, and dine at food trucks. Listen to live music, learn from educational K-9 presentations, meet your favorite authors at book signings, and even enter the Pooch Pageant and other canine contests.

The event’s 2015 sponsors include Banfield Pet Hospital, Costco Wholesale, Dog Breath Photography, Holiday Inn Express, Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog, Nestle Pure Life, NutriSource, Petcurean, Solid Gold, Verizon, Wellness Pet Food, and Yelp!. Media sponsors include The Boston Globe and Country 102.5.

Admission is $10 for adults, and children 12 and under are free. An additional $1.00 per dog admission will be collected to benefit Cape Ann Animal Aid. Parking is free.
