British FTSE 100 decreases 0.45 pct on Tuesday

FTSE 100 Index, the British benchmark stock market gauge, Tuesday decreased by 0.45 percent, or 28.26 points, to 6,277.23 points.

Share price of Glencore increased by 3.86 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Rolls-Royce Holdings, Intertek Group, Babcock International Group and Randgold Resources Ltd. increased by 3.60 percent, 3.25 percent, 3.08 percent and 2.76 percent respectively.

Burberry Group led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 5.25 percent, followed by Whitbread (3.24 percent), easyJet (3.22 percent), International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (3.08 percent) and Carnival (2.67 percent). Endit
