Job growth: In the Oct. 1 Business section, an article about employment figures from Automatic Data Processing said that the September unemployment rate was forecast to hold steady at 8.1%. The rate is forecast to hold steady at 5.1%.

Carpool lanes: In the Sept. 29 California section, an article about Gov. Jerry Brown vetoing a plan to open some freeway carpool lanes during off-peak hours was accompanied by a photo of toll lanes on the 110. Toll lanes were not part of the legislation vetoed by Brown.
