Paychex adds Bonadio CEO to board

The chief executive officer and managing director of a large Rochester-based certified public accounting firm has joined the board of Paychex Inc., with the payroll outsourcing company deciding to expand membership of the board to 10 members.

Thomas F. Bonadio of the Bonadio Group was recently appointed to fill the newly created board post.

"The strong connection between Paychex and the accounting community goes back to when our company was founded, and Tom's expertise in this area will be valuable to us," Paychex President and CEO Martin Mucci said in a statement. "Tom is a successful entrepreneur whose experience building his own business is representative of many clients Paychex serves today. I believe his insight and knowledge will make Tom a valuable addition to the Paychex Board of Directors."

Bonadio's appointment is effective immediately.
