IDT Australia Limited
(ASX:IDT) has announced the opening of a new clinical trial facility, CMAX Adelaide.
Studies to be undertaken at CMAX include research into an early warning device for diabetic patients and a study into gene therapy for the treatment of peripheral arterial disease.
The centre will collaborate with clinicians from The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Royal Adelaide Hospital, with CMAX expected to inject as much as $1 million into the local economy wmploying over 50 staff including nurses and lab technicians.
IDT reported a net loss of $3.54 million for the six months to the end of December 2015
