Unilever agreed to buy Blueair, a Swedish maker of household air purifiers used to remove allergens so asthma sufferers can breathe more easily.

The Stockholm-based company had sales of $106 million last year, Unilever said in a statement Tuesday, without disclosing the price. The company is one of the largest makers of premium air purifiers in China, the U.S., Japan, South Korea and India.
