William 'Bill' Rhodes, 57, of Havre de Grace

William “Bill” R. Rhodes, 57, of Havre de Grace, passed away on Sept. 25, at his home. Born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, he is the son of Willa Marie (Matz) Beznoska of Abingdon. He served our country in the U.S. Navy and worked at Raytheon Corporation for 33 years, where his main job was an engineer for their Aircraft and Missile Guidance Systems. He enjoyed talking to his grandchildren, Harley Davidson motorcycles and was a life-long Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He also enjoyed following #48 in NASCAR, analyzing the stock market and driving his Camaro.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Rhodes is survived by his sons, Brian W. Rhodes (Krystina Jh.) of Colorado Springs, CO and Steven M. Rhodes (Melissa A.) of Dayton, OH; brothers, Robert E. Rhodes Jr. of Pineville, NC, Bruce E. Rhodes, David L. Beznoska Jr. and Richard A. Beznoska, all of Lancaster, PA, and William A. “Tony” Beznoska of Abingdon; and six grandchildren, Anaya Jh., Elana Jh., Olivias Jh. and Iliya Jh. Rhodes, Ethan G. and Alyson Y. Rhodes.
