Verisk Analytics business Wood Mackenzie has acquired renewable energy research and advisory company Make.

“The combined organization will enhance the offering to existing clients and form the leading market analysis and advisory firm on renewables and the transformation of the global electricity industry,” Verisk Analytics said.

Wood Mackenzie president Neal Anderson said Make’s expertise in wind and solar power complements it own practice and that of Greentech Media, which it acquired in July last year.

Make managing partner Morten Keller said: “I look forward to all of our clients benefiting from the combined offering.”
