Live Stream: Donald Trump Rally in Roanoke, Virginia

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will hold a rally in Roanoke, Virginia at 6 p.m. Sept. 24.

ROANOKE, VA — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will hold a rally in Roanoke, Virginia on Saturday just two days before the first highly anticipated presidential debate scheduled to take place at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York on Monday.

Trump, who is reportedly taking a "casual" approach to the debate, is out speaking to supporters as Hillary Clinton is at her home in Chappaqua, New York preparing closely with aides. Clinton is no stranger to the debate stage but her opponent on Monday is perhaps one of the most unpredictable rivals she has faced in her life. She said she has wondered about "which Donald Trump will show up to the debate." Clinton's health is sure to come up at the debate after it was disclosed that she was diagnosed with pneumonia a few weeks back, causing her to become overheated and abruptly leave the 9/11 ceremony in Manhattan on Sept. 11.

For Trump, it has been an interesting week. He finally earned the support of Sen. Ted Cruz, his main opponent during the primaries who refused to throw his support behind the nominee at the convention, where he urged voters, "to vote their conscience." The Trump-Cruz rivalry was heated with both candidates going so far as to attack the other's families. On Friday, Cruz said he had come to the decision to support Trump after praying and searching his own conscience. Trump, who had earlier said he would not accept Cruz's endorsement, said he was, "greatly honored."

The Republican nominee's week was also mired by a meme shared by his son Donald Trump Jr., where he compared Syrian refugees to a bowl of Skittles, saying just three out a handful could "kill you." The meme was shared by Trump Jr. in the aftermath of last weekend's bombings in New York and New Jersey.
