Leading Shareholder Activism Lawyer Aneliya S. Crawford Joins Schulte Roth & ZabelSchulte Roth & Zabel (SRZ) announces that Aneliya S. Crawford has joined the firm's New York office as a partner in the Shareholder Activism and M&A and Securities Groups. A leading lawyer in the activism sector, Ms. Crawford represents hedge funds and other large investors as well as corporate clients in matters concerning shareholder activism, proxy contests, mergers and acquisitions, hostile takeovers and corporate governance. She comes to SRZ from Olshan Frome Wolosky. Having represented activist investors in connection with more than 100 major shareholder activism campaigns, Ms. Crawford has extensive experience providing strategic guidance to investors on activist strategies, including proxy contests, consent solicitations, letter-writing campaigns, settlement negotiations and hostile takeovers. She provides counsel to clients on their equity investments in public companies, and she also represents public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions and asset and stock purchase transactions.
