The Kiama and District Business Chamber believe their new “pop-up business hub” will offer support, office space and mentoring.
The chamber have leased the premises at 1/66 Manning Street. It will serve as both a home/office for the chamber, and a hub for businesses.
The chamber will be offering businesses space for training, meetings, private interviews and office facilities, and will host networking and board meetings there.
About 30 people attended Friday evening’s launch.
Chamber vice-president Gavin McClure said they had already secured a tenant for one of the spaces that they have to sublet. The chamber will have an office presence there from 10am-2pm, Monday to Thursday.
