IHG Rewards Launches Accelerate Promotion

InterContinental Hotels Group has launched a promotion offering IHG Rewards Club members the opportunity to earn IHG Rewards Club bonus points faster than ever.

The ‘Accelerate’ promotion follows a series of recent enhancements to the loyalty programme, including the introduction of a new top membership level, Spire Elite, and other changes which make it easier for members to reach Gold Elite and Platinum Elite membership levels.

IHG Rewards Club members who register for the ‘Accelerate’ promotion will receive personalised and tailored offers. Once each offer has been achieved, IHG Rewards Club bonus points are earned automatically, bringing them closer to the next IHG Rewards Club membership level.

IHG Rewards Club is also offering special rewards to non-members who join IHG Rewards Club and enroll in the promotion. These members will be awarded one free night at any IHG hotel, anywhere in the world, by booking and completing just two separate stays at any IHG hotel brand. If they do it again, they’ll receive two free nights.

Bruce LaHood, Vice President, Global Loyalty Consumer Marketing, IHG said, “The ‘Accelerate’ promotion is another step toward building more value within our programme and opening up more benefits to our valued loyal members worldwide, with rewards and experiences that are personally relevant to them. What’s more, this promotion also encourages non-members to join the world’s largest loyalty programme and enjoy the wide range of benefits that we offer to our members across our portfolio of hotel brands around the world.”

Members will be able to start taking advantage of their personalised offers and earning bonus points from 1 September 2015 through to 31 December 2015.
