Mead Johnson Nutrition (MJN) Has Dropped To A New Low On Weak Guidance

Mead Johnson Nutrition (MJN) announced after the bell Tuesday that it now expects to report second quarter adjusted EPS of $0.76. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $0.89. The company also lowered its full year adjusted EPS forecast to between $3.63 and $3.78, from prior expectations of $3.90 to $4.00. Analysts are expecting EPS of $3.93.

Mead Johnson Nutrition has gapped open sharply lower Wednesday morning and is now down 3.30 at $84.85 on above average volume. The stock has been on a downward trend for the past 3 months and has dropped to a new low for the year.
