Duke Announces 2015-16 Men?s Golf Schedule

DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke men's golf team announced its 2015-16 schedule on Tuesday, outlining a nine-tournament regular season that will take the Blue Devils to seven different states.

Duke will open the regular season by hosting the Rod Myers Invitational at Duke University Golf Club from Sept. 12-13. The sixth annual event will feature 36 holes of play on Saturday, followed by an 18-hole final round on Sunday. In addition to the host Blue Devils, the field will include Davidson, East Carolina, Kansas, Kansas State, Liberty, Loyola (Md.), Maryland, Notre Dame, Penn State, Tulsa, UNC Wilmington, UNC Greensboro and Wake Forest.

As part of its five-event fall schedule, Duke will also compete in the Dick's Sporting Goods Collegiate Challenge Cup at the Golf Club of Tennessee (Kingston Springs, Tenn.) from Sept. 25-27, the Nike Collegiate Invitational at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club (North Plains, Ore.) from Oct. 4-6, the Crooked Stick Intercollegiate at Crooked Stick Golf Club (Carmel, Ind.) from Oct. 12-13 and the Wendy's Kiawah Classic at Turtle Point Golf Club (Kiawah Island, S.C.) from Nov. 1-3.

The Blue Devils will get their spring schedule under way at the Prestige at PGA WEST (La Quinta, Calif.) from Feb. 15-17. Duke's regular-season spring schedule also includes the Seahawk Intercollegiate at the Country Club of Landfall (Wilmington, N.C.) from March 20-21, the Hootie at Bull's Bay Intercollegiate (Awendaw, S.C.) from April 3-5 and the Princeton Spring Invitational at Springdale Golf Club (Princeton, N.J.) from April 9-10.

The 2016 ACC Championship is set for April 22-24 at Old State North Club in New London, N.C. NCAA Regionals will be held from May 16-18 at various locations across the country.

The University of Oregon will host the 2016 NCAA Championship Finals at Eugene Country Club from May 27-June 1. Duke finished in a tie for 24th at last season's national championship event.
