Just Cause 3 PC requirements announced

The PC system requirements for Just Cause 3 have been revealed, with just a week to go until release.

Avalanche Studios has confirmed the system requirements for Just Cause 3 in a post on the Steam forums.

The small post details the minimum and recommended requirements needed to run the game, neither of which are very taxing if you’re a regular PC player.

Minimum Specifications:

  • OS: Vista SP2, Win 7 SP1, Win 8.1 (64-bit required)
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K, 3.3 GHz / AMD Phenom II X6 1075T 3 GHz
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 (2 GB) / AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2 GB)

Recommended Specifications

  • OS: Vista SP2, Win 7 SP1, Win 8.1 (64-bit required)
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz / AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) / AMD R9 290 (4 GB)

Just Cause 3 requires a 64-bit operating system, which is quite common with modern PC titles.

Players wanting to experience the relentless explosions and destruction of Just Cause 3 at their full potential will want own a GTX 780 or above.

Just Cause 3 features an all new engine and destruction system that allows for endless experimentation when taking down enemies and destroying the environment.

Protagonist Rico Rodriguez has unlimited explosives at his disposal, so there is literally no limit to the destruction you can (just) cause.

Developer Avalanche Studios is even giving away a real world island to one lucky player as part of the game’s marketing.

Just Cause 3 is set to launch on December 1 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
