In trading on Friday, airlines shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 2.7%. Leading the group were shares of Alaska Air Group (ALK), up about 5.8% and shares of Republic Airways Holdings (RJET) up about 3.9% on the day.
Also showing relative strength are shipping shares, up on the day by about 2.4% as a group, led by StealthGas (GASS), trading higher by about 6.9% and Safe Bulkers (SB), trading up by about 5.1% on Friday.
