Aviva Premiership results: Saracens win at Exeter to extend lead at top

There was also Aviva Premiership action in addition to the Six Nations.

Exeter 11-14 Saracens

Saracens extended their lead to five points at the top of the Aviva Premiership with a hard-fought 14-11 win over second-placed Exeter at Sandy Park.

The visitors came back from 11-0 down to become the first team to win at the Chiefs' home in 13 months, but in the end they were deserved winners.

A superb solo try from James Short and two penalties from Gareth Steenson helped Exeter build up that 11-0 lead but three penalties from Charlie Hodgson and a try from Samu Vunisa earned Saracens a crucial win.

London Irish 20-13 Worcester

London Irish's win lifted them off the bottom of the Premiership.

Ciaran Hearn's kick and take over the top of the Warriors' defence helped the hosts into a 10-3 half-time lead.

Bryce Heem reduced the deficit by scoring just after returning from the sin-bin, shortly after Topsy Ojo had a try ruled out in his 250th Irish game.

Exiles back Andrew Fenby and Warriors prop Val Rapava-Ruskin exchanged tries before Shane Geraghty's late penalty.

The victory is only Irish's third league win of the season, and lifts them above Newcastle, who are now bottom but are level on points with, while Worcester's losing bonus-point leaves them a point above in tenth.
