Kenny had a nightmare against Southampton. Hugely out of position for Saint’s first goal, the youngster’s lack of positional awareness began the cascade of events that condemned Everton to defeat. An afternoon to forget!
James Tarkowski
Centre-back: Burnley
Tarkowski was playing well but when the ball came into the box in stoppage time he needlessly shoved Aaron Ramsey to the ground, conceding the penalty that cost Burnley the game.

Everton’s young centre-back continued his poor run of form with a dismal display against at St. Mary’s. He was dithering and useless on Everton’s first goal and utterly dominated in the air for their second.

Huddersfield improbably had a lead over high-flying Manchester City when Scott Malone hacked down Raheem Sterling. This flagrant foul gave CIty an equaliser and a way back into a game they were struggling in.
Matt Ritchie
Right-wing: Newcastle United
As Newcastle United got splattered at home by Watford, their inability to build any attacks of their own owed a lot to Matt Ritchie. The winger sent into an impressive 12 crosses against Watford, but absolutely none of them found their target.
Jonjo Shelvey
Central midfield: Newcastle United
Jonjo Shelvey attempted 72 passes, completing just 56 of them for a 78% completion rate. That’s bad enough for Newcastle United’s chief playmaker, and what’s worse is he created 0 chances.
