Willis Towers Watson (NASDAQ: WLTW), a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company, today announced the appointment of George Lopez as market leader for Stamford, CT, and Westchester, NY. In his new role, Lopez will be responsible for the company's business operations across the market's offices in Stamford, CT, Woodbridge, CT, and White Plains, NY. These responsibilities include driving growth, client relations and the oversight of approximately 400 employees.

Lopez joined Willis Towers Watson in 1995 as a general management consultant. He then held positions in human resources consulting and sales leadership at other firms before returning to the company in 2008 to serve as a global client relationship director. He has a B.S. in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University and M.B.A. from Stanford University.
