Details of amount paid to national cricketers submitted in Senate

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) on Thursday submitted a written reply in the Senate detailing the amount paid to players of national cricket team during the last four years.

In its reply, the ministry said Misbah-ul-Haq was paid Rs71.4 million match fees during the last four years, while Sarfraz Ahmed got Rs69.1 million.

Similarly, Younis Khan was paid Rs59.8 million, Yasir Shah Rs52.6 million, Mohammad Hafeez Rs97.3 million and Mohammad Irfan Rs36.2 million, according to the written reply.

Over the last four years, Asad Shafiq received Rs111.9 million, Umar Gul Rs16.7 million, Shoaib Malik Rs54.7 million, Ahmed Shehzad Rs58.9 million and Shahid Afridi Rs55.6 million, the ministry stated.

Pacer Wahab Riaz was paid Rs51.8 million, Azhar Ali Rs60 million, Haris Sohail Rs20 million, Imad Wasim Rs20 million and Junaid Khan Rs40 million, it added.
