Red Hot Chili Peppers To Headline Band Together Bay Area 2

SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CA — Another relief concert is planned in San Francisco for victims of the North Bay wildfires, with the Red Hot Chili Peppers headlining alongside Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, show organizers said Tuesday. Additional acts will be announced as they are confirmed.

The show is scheduled for Dec. 14 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, and 100 percent of ticket sale revenues will be donated to the Tipping Point Emergency Relief Fund.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. They cost $99.50 plus applicable fees for general admission, and will be available online at APEConcerts.com and ticketmaster.com.

Ticketmaster will be donating all processing fees to the fire relief effort, according to concert organizers.

Band Together 2 is a followup to the original Band Together concert on Nov. 9 that raised $17 million for fire relief and featured Metallica, Dave Matthews and Oakland based hip-hop star G-Eazy at AT&T Park.

The North Bay firestorm in October burned roughly 6,000 structures in Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino and Lake counties, causing at least $1 billion in damage.
