Christ the King Cathedral School

Sarah Settle has been named valedictorian and Ningzhe “Sandy” Sun has been named salutatorian for Christ the King Cathedral School class of 2017.

Settle , daughter of Don & Patricia Settle, graduates with a 4.45 grade point average. She plans to attend University of Incarnate Word.

Sun, daughter ofMuzhang Sun & Xiaoya Ni, graduates with a 4.20 grade point average. She plans to attend University of Texas at Arlington and major in accounting.

Crosbyton High School

Rose Williams has been named valedictorian and Savana Ware has been named salutatorian for Crosbyton High School class of 2017.

Williams, daughter of Sharon Williams, graduates with a 97.7 grade point average. She plans to attend Texas Tech University and major in biology.

Ware, daughter of Regan Ware and Paris Farley, graduates with a 95.7 grade point average. She plans to attend Texas Tech and major in viticulture.

Denver City High School

Jacee Billings has been named valedictorian and Marlow Davis has been named salutatorian for Denver City High School class of 2017.

Billings, daughter of Duwane and Bonnie Billings, graduates with a 5.44 grade point average. She plans to attend Texas Tech and major in pre-pharmacy.

Davis, daughter of Gary and Carmela Davis, graduates with a 5.40 grade point average. She plans to attend Abilene Christian University and major in mass communications.

Floydada High School

Macee Brotherton has been named valedictorian and Kaylee Morren has been named salutatorian for Floydada High School class of 2017.

Brotherton, daughter of David and Kay Brotherton, graduates with a 5.41551 grade point average. She plans to attend Texas A&M University and major in business.

Morren, daughter of Wayne and Angel Morren, graduates with a 5.35925 grade point average. She plans to attend Texas Tech and major in pre-pharmacy with a minor in Spanish.

Hale Center High School

Kamri Knippa has been named valedictorian and Aaron Berry has been named salutatorian for Hale Center High School class of 2017.

Knippa, daughter of Kris and Sharla Knippa, graduates with a 4.763 grade point average. She plans to attend Wayland Baptist University and major in choral music education.

Berry, son of Alan and Monica Berry, graduates with a 4.665 grade point average. He plans to attend the Baylor University and major in business.

Lockney High School

Tabetha Bigham has been named valedictorian and Seattle Jackson has been named salutatorian for Lockney High School class of 2017.

Bigham, daughter of Clint Bigham and Melissa McComb graduates with a 98.75 grade point average. She plans to attend Angelo State University and major in biology.

Jackson, son of Richard and Aimee Jackson, graduates with a 97.01 grade point average. He plans to attend the University of North Texas and major in mechanical and energy engineering.

Southcrest Christian School

Lee Robin Thomas has been named valedictorian and Anna Marie Holmes has been named salutatorian for Southcrest Christian School’s Class of 2017.

Thomas, daughter of John and Jamie Thomas graduates with a 4.8339 grade point average. She plans to attend Texas A&M University and major in nutrition.

Holmes, daughter of Michael and Jennifer Holmes, graduates with a 4.7341 grade point average. She plans to attend West Texas A&M University to study musical theater and obtain her teachers certificate.

Sudan High School

Andrew Harper has been named valedictorian and Anakin Cantu has been named salutatorian for Sudan High School class of 2017.

Harper, son of David and Rita Harper, graduates with a 4.00 grade point average. He plans to attend Texas Tech and major in computer science.

Cantu, son of Joe and Laura Cantu, graduates with a 3.96 grade point average. He plans to attend Lubbock Christian University and major in computer science.

Sundown High School

Jade Pool has been named valedictorian and Jenna Legan has been named salutatorian for Sundown High School Class of 2016.

Pool, daughter of Jonathan and Amanda Pool, graduates with a 4.3462 grade point average. She plans to attend the University of Dallas and major in biology.

Legan, daughter of Brian and Janice Legan, graduates with a 4.2391 grade point average. She plans to attend South Plains College and major in Ag business then transfer to a four-year university to major in animal science.
