Jaromir Jagr plans to return to Czech Republic for 30th pro season
Former Penguins star Jaromir Jagr, 46, said he plans to play next season for Kladno, the team he owns in the Czech Republic. It would be his 30th professional season.
Jagr started last season with the Calgary Flames — recording one goal and six assists in 22 games — but was waived in January before joining Kladno.
He is second in NHL history in points (1,921) behind Wayne Gretzky (2,857). He was drafted fifth overall by the Penguins in 1990 and spent his first 11 seasons there.
