Tigers open first fall weekend in Chattanooga, Tuscaloosa

Four-In-The-Fall Draws *Subject to change

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After making its sixth NCAA Tournament appearance in the past seven seasons, the Memphis men's tennis team is set to open the 2018-19 campaign this weekend.
 
The Tigers will split action between the Crimson Tide Four-In-The-Fall in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and the Chattanooga Collegiate Clay Court Championships in Chattanooga, Tenn.
 
Memphis returns six student-athletes from the 2017-18 season and welcomes three new additions to this year's squad. Head coach Paul Goebel enters his 15th season at the helm of the men's tennis program.
 
Juniors Matthew Story and Marshall Sullivan along with freshmen David Stevenson and Oscar Cutting are set for action in Tuscaloosa. Host Alabama, Miami, Oklahoma, Princeton, Rice, Tennessee and Tulane join the Tigers in Tuscaloosa.  

Juniors Jan Pallares and Turner Voges join freshmen Patrick Sydow and Jeremy Taylor for the trip to Chattanooga. Along with host Chattanooga and the Tigers, ECU, East Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech, Troy and UAB will compete in clay-court action with draws to be announced.
