Southern Arkansas sophomore Adriene Lasko won the 200 meter on Saturday at the Sixth Annual Skecher's Carl Kight Invitational in 22.19.

NACOGDOCHES, TX – Southern Arkansas sophomore Adriene Lasko topped the field in the 200 meter on Saturday afternoon at the Sixth-Annual Skecher's Carl Kight Invitational.

The Muleriders added 20 additional Top-10 performances in the final day of competition at Homer Bryce Stadium on the campus of Stephen F. Austin.

Lasko's first career event win came in a time of 22.19 and was the fastest among 24 competitors in the event. Less than a half second behind Lasko in the 200 meter was freshman Jordan Johnson who placed second in 22.48.

Junior hurdler Raymond Miller continued to impress as he logged a pair of third-place showings in both the 110 and 400 meter hurdle events. Sophomore Wesley Franklin placed fifth in the 400 meter event, while sophomore Donald Robinson finished in tenth place among 25 distance runners in the 800 meter.

Junior sprinter Karonce Higgins placed fourth in the 100 meter at 10.82 and Lasko placed seventh in 10.94 among the 30-sprinter field.

In the field, the SAU Men posted eight Top-10 placements. Junior thrower Sinclair Pitts placed sixth in the hammer and tenth in the discus, while freshman thrower Sal Guli finished in ninth place in the discus and tenth in the hammer throw.

Junior Aurthur Jeffery landed just north of 45 feet in the triple jump as he placed sixth, while senior Aaron Linnear finished ninth and junior Torrie Whetsell placed tenth.
