Event organisers are looking forward to the Love Run.
SIBU: More than 3,000 people will take part in the Love Run for Autism 1.0 to be held at Sibu Town Square at 6am this morning (Sunday).
A spokesman from the organising committee reminded the participants to put the number of the Love Run for Autism 1.0 T-shirt at the front for the organiser to recognise them.
She said participants must be punctual and reach the site before 6pm for registration purpose.
The event will start with Zumba warming up dances and singing of the Love Run 1.0 theme song.
After that, one of the autism representatives will flag off the event at 7am.
Participants of the 10km run will start first, followed by the 5km event and the 2km Fun Run.
The sponsors have set up booths for charity sales and other activities such as body painting and handicraft goodies.
After the run, there will be a prize-giving ceremony on stage for the first 20 finishers of the 5km and 10km events respectively.
Each runner who has completed the run will also get a finisher medal on condition they put on the Love Run 1.0 T-shirt.
