Ben Allen is moving on.

The Estero musician learned Tuesday night in the first 15 minutes into NBC's "The Voice" that he's among the final nine performers from the 17 who sang live Monday night.

Allen, 42, performed the Kenny Chesney No. 1 hit "There Goes My Life." Afterward, fans voted to help propel Allen and the other eight contestants to the next round.

Allen now moves onto Monday night, Dec. 7, when he will compete live again.

After his song this past Monday, Allen appeared confident that he had nailed the ballad. He said in an interview with the Daily News a few weeks ago that he chose the song right after coach Gwen Stefani "stole" him from country star Blake Shelton's team.

Many Allen fans congratulated him on social media Tuesday night, while others thought fellow Team Gwen member Payge Turner, 27, of Seattle, should've made the cut.

Another Gwen teammate, Carter Rubin, 14, of Shoreham, New York, made the top nine as well.

The other seven finalists: From John Legend's team: John Holiday, 35, of Rosenberg, Texas, Tamara Jade, 30, of Bowie, Maryland, and Bailey Rae, 18, of Roberta, Oklahoma, who was the final contestant to make it Tuesday night; from Kelly Clarkson's team: Cami Clune, 20, of Buffalo, New York; and Desz, 30, of Houston; and from Shelton's team: Ian Flanigan, 30, of Saugerties, New York; and Jim Ranger, 39, of Newport, Arkansas.

Allen made it through competition since late October when season 19 began. He survived the Blind Auditions as Shelton needed less than eight seconds to turn around his chair. Stefani and coach John Legend followed but Allen chose Shelton as his coach.

And Allen took to Facebook again, this time Tuesday, when he told fans why he chose to perform "There Goes My Life" on Monday night.

"I just wanted to tell y'all I hope you like what I did on the show last night," he said in a video. " 'There Goes My Life' is a song that I love, love, love singing. That's a special song with special meaning."

He said he had hoped the song had the emotional impact, performing with so many others (17) on one show in two hours.

"I feel like I was able to perform close to my potential ability on that song," he continued. "And that's what helped me go to sleep last night, that I did what I felt I was capable of doing."
