In February of 2016, the Ohio County Sheriff's Office's Narcotics Unit received information alleging the sale of large quantities of methamphetamine from a home located in the Olaton area.

Based on their preliminary investigation, detectives began to focus their attention on two individuals residing in the 300 block of State Route 878.

As the investigation continued, detectives learned the two were in fact selling and/or consuming large quantities of methamphetamine at that location. One of the residents, Whitney Raymer, 27 had allegedly sold an agent of the Ohio County Sheriff's Office an "eight-ball" of crystal methamphetamine on a previous occasion.

Deputies of the Ohio County Sheriff's Office were assisted by Kentucky State Police troopers on the night of 3/23/2016 in the execution of the search warrant. Officers seized rifles, shotguns, methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription pills, and drug paraphernalia. In addition, one of the residents was found to be hunting wild game out of season. He was identified as Brian Quisenberry, 29.

OCSO detectives were assisted by a member of the Kentucky Department of Fish & Game. They are conducting their own separate investigation, and Mr. Quisenberry could be facing additional charges stemming from this incident.

Mr. Quisenberry and Ms. Raymer were each charged with one count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine), one count of Possession of Marijuana, one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Offense, and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Ms. Raymer also received an additional count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Methamphetamine) for the sale of methamphetamine on 3/14/2016.

Both individuals were taken into custody without incident, and lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
