2 arrested, multiple labs found in Frankfort meth arrest

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Franklin Co. Sheriff says that a long-term investigation into meth manufacturing resulted in two arrests on Thursday.

According to the Sheriff, narcotics detectives and deputies executed a search warrant on the home of Lora and Richard Demmer.

Kentucky State Police detectives specializing in dismantling meth labs were called to the scene after a total of 9 “one-step” meth labs were discovered in the home.

Detectives say they also found several firearms and additional evidence of meth manufacture.

Lora and Richard Demmer were arrested and taken to the Franklin Co. Regional Jail.
