GZA promotes Jonathan Andrews, P.E. to Associate Principal

GZA, a multi-disciplinary firm providing environmental, geotechnical, ecological, water and construction management services, announces that Jonathan Andrews has been promoted to Associate Principal in the Norwood, Massachusetts office.

A resident of Southborough, Massachusetts, Andrews joined GZA in 1991; his areas of specialization include geotechnical, dam safety and foundation engineering.

Andrews earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and his Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His education at MIT was funded by GZA and the company’s founders, Donald Goldberg, P.E. and William Zoino, P.E.

A registered Professional Engineer in three states, Andrews holds membership in the Association of Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section (BSCES), and the American Council of Engineering Companies – Massachusetts (ACEC-MA).

He is a past Chair of BSCES Geo-Institute and is a graduate of the Fundamentals of Professional Practice (FOPP) Course.

Andrews has authored technical papers in several industry publications and presented at numerous industry organizations, including the Association of Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO), BSCES, and the American Water Works/New England Water Works, along with several guest lectureships at the University of Massachusetts.
