Jonna Walsh is officially Lee Dewyze’s wife. Sorry to disappoint you, ladies! Lee is officially off the market. The American Idol alum proposed to Walsh last May and on Saturday July 21st, Lee and Jonna exchanged vows, People magazine confirmed.
In a recent interview with the magazine, the couple opened up about their ceremony saying, “It was really our style of wedding, outdoors with chandeliers.” The event is said to have been held in Camarillo, CA and was vintage-inspired.
So what do we know about the wedding? What are the details? Well, we do know that Walsh walked down the aisle in a Lili Bridal strapless gown that was lace embroidered. Now before you ask whether Lee serenaded his bride on their big day, he took it a step further. He wrote his bride her own personal song called “Who Would Have Known” and played it in the background while Jonna walked down the aisle.
And don’t you worry, peeps. We WILL get to hear the song that he wrote for her. Lee confirmed, “It’s a personal song that will be on my next album.”
The couple met back in October of 2010 on the set of Lee’s music video for “Sweet Serenditpity”. After they went on their first date, Jonna knew that she was going to marry Lee. Lee Dewyze’s wife said, “When he took me home that night I called my mom and told her that I was going to marry him, I could feel it in my heart.”
And Lee felt the same. He said, “When I realized I could be 100 percent myself around her all of the time I knew I wanted to be with her for the rest of my life.”
Awwww. Congratulations to Jonna Walsh for snagging up Lee Dewyze as her husband! He definitely seems like a keeper.
