Officers were called to a Fulton Dr business for a fight in progress on June 29. On scene, the officers observed three males yelling and screaming at each other, causing a disturbance to the patrons. Through statements it was found that the three were in a physical altercation. All three were cited for disorderly conduct. All three denied medical treatment and to press charges.

On June 27, a 31-year-old male at a Dressler Rd NW business was stopped by a reporting officer after the odor of marijuana was coming from him. After being asked to step outside, the defendant did not answer when asked if he was in possession of marijuana. The officer asked permission to pat him down, and found marijuana in his cargo pant pocket. The man was placed into custody, and it was later found the defendant had a warrant out in Lake Count and with the Euclid PD.

An officer was called to a Dressler Rd NW business for a fight call on June 28. Upon arrival, a 23-year-old male was yelling obscenities and pushing his way past a bouncer. When told to stop by the officer, the defendant failed to do so, and pulled away from the officer when he tried to detain him. There was an odor of alcohol on the defendant, and he was slurring his words and had glassy eyes. The defendant admitted to being disorderly and intoxicated.

A 67-year-old man went into a Belden Village Mall business and selected three men’s shirts on June 23. He then took them to the dressing room where he concealed one shirt in his pants and returned the other two on the rack, then exited the store. The defendant was stopped by store loss prevention outside of the store and arrested for theft.

A male went into resale business and traded in several items of women’s clothing and a pair of Puma shoes, receiving approximately $20 in cash for the sale of the property. It was later reported stolen from a victim, with the value of the property estimated at $150. The defendant was later arrested.

A woman reported that when returning to her vehicle in a parking lot at a Strip Ave NW location, during a rain storm, her wallet fell out her purse and was lost. The contents of the wallet was a Visa card, a KeyBank ATM card, a BJ’s card, Sam’s Club card, nurse ID card, Buckeye Credit Union ID card, a C.S.E. ID card and a Ohio’s Driver’s license. A statement was taken on June 26.

On June 25, unknown person(s) did remove a metal vase without permission from a cemetery on Everhard RD NW. There are no suspects at this time.

On June 25, a Shadyview Ave NW victim did report an unknown subject poured a substance over the top of the mailbox. The mailbox will need cleaned off, but was not damaged. The same substance was poured on another Shadyview Ave NW mailbox as well. Extra patrol was requested.

At a Sunset Strip Ave NW location, a suspect entered the business and demanded money from the reportee on June 26. The suspect stated he had a gun, but the reportee did not see a weapon. The reportee did not give the suspect any money and the suspect then fled the scene by unknown means.

On June 24, a suspect became angry after being terminated from a business. The suspect began yelling obscenities at the victim, then slammed the door as he was leaving, breaking the door from the hinges, causing damage. The victim wants to file charges on the suspect for damage to the door. The case was sent to Massillon Prosecutor’s Office for review.

On June 25, a male reported that he had been receiving unwanted text messages from the suspect, an ex-girlfriend he wants no contact with. The messages caused him concern for his safety and his child. At this time the complainant just wants the issue documented.

A house was reported broken into on June 25. The day before, while the victim was away, his house was broken into and personal intimate items, a white diamond engagement ring and a bottle of red wine were stolen.

A person reported their car stolen on June 19. The 2000 Chevy Cavalier, along with tools and an iPod located in the car where reported stolen. The victim said after leaving his place of work he noticed the vehicle was missing. He stated that the doors were unlocked and the keys were in the center counsel.
